According to a new analysis by the Department of Health and Human Services, 50 to 129 million (19 to 50 percent of) non-elderly Americans have some type of pre-existing health condition. Up to one in five non-elderly Americans with a pre-existing condition – 25 million individuals – is uninsured. This comes directly from the Center for
Medicare and Medicaid Services. Healthcare is and will continue to be a basic human right. And that's one of the many reasons we voted this year.

We know that voting can be difficult, and in an election that's been this divisive, there's been pressure to vote now more than ever. While we love folks that go out and exercise that right, we know that for some, voting is incredibly difficult, if not impossible. Whether you live in a state that restricts your times to vote or places restrictions on how early you can vote or your state has such strict voter ID laws that it becomes financially irresponsible to vote in your family, we understand how fortunate we are to even be able to go out and cast a ballot. We created the Voting Rights collection to highlight some of the reasons that we voted this year, and we hope to inspire others to proudly represent why they've voted too! But we also want to highlight just how difficult it can be to vote in this country. We're not sure what the right answer is, but we know we want to keep speaking up about it, and engaging with our representatives in the hopes that they'll make voting easier for everyone. Because everyone should have a voice and a seat at the table.
